Description

The Exile Cannon uses technologies similar to those employed by the smaller Transdimensional Beamer, and is a Canoptek Tomb Sentinel's primary weapon. Crypteks are members of a pan-galactic conclave of Necron technologists whose purpose is to study and maintain the eldritch devices of their ancient species. They are masters of dimensional dissonance, singularity manipulation, atomic transmutation, elemental transmogrification and countless other reason-defying technologies. Staff of Tomorrow - This unique example of advanced Necron time manipulation technology exists a fraction of a second ahead of any given moment in the normal space-time continuum. This property allows Orikan to strike at his target an instant before the foe even moves to do so. The Staff of Tomorrow can also penetrate all known forms of infantry armour, in a similar way to a Power Weapon, further enhancing its devastating effect in melee. Chronomancer ( Orikan the Diviner) • Plasmancer • Psychomancer • Technomancer ( Illuminor Szeras) • Apprentek

The Crypteks have developed countless disciplines of techno-sorcery, down through the aeons. Further, each individual Cryptek makes its own unique advancements in its chosen expertise. As such, it is unlikely for two Crypteks to ever wield quite the same abilities and weapons. Abyssal Staff - Crypteks that are accomplished Psychomancers utilise Abyssal Staves. As dark as onyx and decorated with symbols designed to prey on the subconscious fears of mortals, an Abyssal Staff blasts the sanity of a Psychomancer's foes. To succumb to the swirling ebon mists called by the Abyssal Staff is to be swallowed in inpenetrable darkness. You then reduce the number of dice in that pool by a number equal to the Wounds characteristic of the Reanimated model and repeat this process until either there are no more reassembling models, or the number of dice remaining in the pool is less than the Wounds characteristic of any of the reassembling models. Any models that did not Reanimate fail to reassemble, and any dice remaining in the pool are discarded.Yet Orikan has ever been sparing of such actions, for his meddling can birth all manner of unforeseen events. As a direct result of the Helios VI affair, no less than five Space Marine Chapters, including the Death Spectres, Howling Griffons and the remainder of the Silver Skulls, descended upon the Lazar System to take revenge, utterly destroying the Tomb World from whence Orikan's original commission had come. In that case, Orikan's culpability in the disaster remained secret, but it could have easily gone otherwise. You can choose to equip the Aeonstave instead if you prefer a shorter range Assault D3 weapon. It’s Str 5 -2 AP, damage 1 is still nice but I just preferred the Entropic Lance.

Warhammer Community: Get a first look at this year’s exclusive Store Anniversary models (Posted on 04/01/2021) (Last accessed on 4 Janurary 2021) A Staff of Light is usually only found in the armouries of Necron royalty, including those belonging to Necron Overlords, Necron Lords or Necron Destroyer Lords. However, Crypteks of an unspecialised nature in their techno-sorcerous arts also commonly wield a Staff of Light in battle. A Death Sphere is a devastating anti-matter weapon of mass destruction carried by Night Shroud bombers. A potent relic of the ancient and apocalyptic conflict known as the War in Heaven, a Death Sphere is a self-enclosed containment vessel carrying an anti-matter warhead capable of wiping from existence anything it encounters. Seismic Crucible - A skilled geomancer with a Seismic Crucible may command the very earth beneath his feet and, more importantly, the feet of his enemies. The Harbinger of Transmogrification can precipitate a powerful, localised quake.

Planning Your Army

A Synaptic Disintegrator is an advanced sniper weapon utilised only by Deathmark assassins as their favoured weapon to deliver death from afar. These cruel, long-barrelled rifles fire compressed leptonic beams of sub-atomic particles which destroy neural and synaptic tissue, and are capable of sustaining a rate of fire at long range -- even when the wielder is on the move -- that few other sniper weapons can match. If that unit contains one or more models with fewer than their starting number of wounds remaining, select one of those models; that model regains one lost wound. Illuminor Szeras - The enigmatic Cryptek Plasmancer known as Illuminor Szeras is one of the most reviled beings in the whole galaxy. Both hated and envied by the other Necrontyr, it was Szeras' twisted genius that ultimately made the process of biotranference a reality, and condemned the whole Necrontyr civilisation to an eternal undeath. Uncaring, the megalomaniac Szeras only saw the sacrifice of his people as the first step of his own ascension to C'tan-like godhood. In the 41st Millennium, Szeras still labors toward that goal, seeking to unravel the last mysteries of life that escape him. Despite being distrusted and reviled by the majority of his peers and Necron royalty, Szeras' knowledge is so vast, and the help he can grant so potent, that few Nemesors refuse his assistance nor its price when offered.

Many an enemy has underestimated the power of an innocent-looking Harp of Dissonance, most often fatally -- for a single booming note from its electrum strings can transmute adamantium plate to a brittle glass. Unlike many other Cryptek weapons, a Harp of Dissonance has almost limitless range, and its effects are similar to the entropic bites of Canoptek Scarabs. For those rare cases when a Cryptek's enemies survive long enough to engage him in close combat, an Eldritch Lance can be wielded in a manner akin to a spear, albeit with effects on flesh and armour similar to those caused by Power Weapons. All Crypteks possess a level of genius that makes the finest minds of Humanity appear drooling simpletons by comparison. The Technomandrites are the most inventive of them all. A Tachyon Arrow is an intricate wrist-mounted directed energy weapon worn by Necron royalty like Necron Overlords, Necron Lords and Necron Destroyer Lords. When activated, it transmutes a sliver of inert metal into an unstoppable thunderbolt capable of piercing the heart of a mountain. At the height of the War in Heaven, the C'tan and the cybernetic Necron legions bound to their service were able to unleash such unknowable weapons that the very fabric of time and space was theirs to shape according to their will.A Particle Shredder mounted underneath a Triarch Stalker; note that most Necron Particle Weapons can be characterised by the similar barrel and muzzle design.
