Fated to Love (Fated Series Book 1)

Description
I understand the concept of animals who mate for life, but what we’re talking about here is something different – a sort of master plan devised by God or the universe or whatever fating one person to be another’s mate. You both mentioned that the physicality of the descriptions regarding non-physical things served to, at least, not lessen your confusion regarding them (ex.
Three years ago, the Moore family opposed Charles Moore's choice to marry his beloved woman and selected Scarlett Riley as his bride. She is a walking doom's day time bomb, has all the noble attributes you would expect from a character in her position (come on man look at her illustrations, she is like a better Esdeath but not mean but so sweet) but when its comes to Daud she turns into a crazy girl in love and its a joy to read about her interactions with the other heroines.Janine: I agree that some of the last minute salvations have felt contrived, but I don’t think that means Singh is making things up as she goes along! In the first book, there were very few good Psy but now we’ve met several, and it is made clear in the characters’ discussions that many, many Psy aren’t evil.
I may be missing something, but I’m not clear on how this addresses the problems that Silence was created to deal with. These types of misunderstanding keep on repeating, and of course everybody falls in love with him etc.Similarly, I can’t imagine that sentence reading “ Her dominance was staggering, demanding his wolf’s absolute attention. With a diverse bunch of characters interacting with each other and a good number of them being yanderes, chaos ensues.
TIL it was possible for me to fall in love with a guy who laughs like the Joker on meth and wears his hair like Ronald McDonald is his personal stylist. The same can be said of her female characters: Adria, Indigo and Mercy are all dominant females but I think Nalini does a great job of showing how their backgrounds, relationships (romantic and family) have shaped their personalities. Maybe it becomes better at the letter chapters, maybe some people enjoy this type of story but for me it feels too dragged out and don't really understand the high rating. It becomes clear by chapter 50 or something that the MC needs to be more affectionate and honest with his female cast, but actively chooses not to.
Jennie: I don’t know that any of her books have been that way for me, but ToN did feel like it took me a long time to read. We know that fractures, madness and violence led to Silence, which was probably overkill but seemed like a good idea at the time (and I can understand why it did, particularly to the already-given-to-cool-logic Psy). So let's say if a dragon is trying to kill him, he'll get boosted to EX rank, while if a second-rate villain tries to kill him, he'll only boost to like D rank. In fact if it were up to me, I think I might banish the word “feminine” from romance novels altogether.
I don’t want to see him become this macho caricature that isn’t really representative of a Psy male. Janine: I am “on tenterhooks” as they say in RegencyLand, to find out, but I’m so there regardless of whether it’s Vasic or Kaleb. The age difference has never bothered me, though – do you know why it started to bother you in this book when it hadn’t previously?
