I'm gratefully amazed. Putting together the group really worked well because group energy is strong and when someone shares, everyone benefits from that positive energy. Very cool book - Rhonda Byrnes NAILED IT! When you discover how little practice it takes, how easy it is to incorporate gratitude into your daily life, and when you see the magical resultsfor yourself, you will never want to return to the life you used to live. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, no matter what your current circumstances, the magic of gratitude will change yourentire life! VIMP: Don’t just throw away ‘ Thank You’, give reasons. When you say ‘Thank You’, look into the eyes of other person and mean it. It makes both happy. You can sense your own happiness. Amazingly, after two weeks I mentioned to both friends that I loved it so much, I was thinking I would start all over again when I was done. BOTH agreed and told me they, too, had already had that exact same thought.

Whoever has gratitude will be given more, and he or she will have an abundance. I have absolute confidence in the things within as being things that will enhance and remind me of all the wonder and, indeed, magic of life. These books have not just got me through all manner of tough circumstances, but they've given me many, many tools to brighten up literally everything around my life. But then something happened that would change everything in my life from that day forward. I discovered a secret about life, and as a resultof my discovery one of the things I began to do was practice gratitude each day. As a result of this, everything in my life changed, and themore I practiced gratitude, the more miraculous were the results. My life truly became magical.

I read at least one self-help book a week for my radio show. Over the past 5 years I've read almost 300 books. There are so many that I have found to be excellent and well worth reading. This one however is, by far, the BEST self-help book I have ever read. The exercises, designed to be followed every day for 28 days, help us to build an ' attitude of gratitude' almost like flexing and training a muscle in a gym. Before we start the daily exercise, the first thing Rhonda recommends is to be specific about our wants. Dividing our life into categories describe exactly what we'd like - she suggests Work, money, wealth, relationships, personal desires and material things. Go to the mirror. Look directly at the person in the mirror & loudly say, Thank You’ with all your heart (max feeling). Say Thank You for everything that you are!. Be more grateful to yourself than anyone else, any other thing. Do it many times today. Say 3 things about yourself that you are grateful for. When you are grateful, you do not blame yourself or others, when you make a mistake.

I had read this book for the first time in March 2012 and since then my entire approach to life situations and depth of gratitude has transformed for the best. In the last decade i have read this book and practiced the teachings at least 10 times already and each time I emerge to discover the fiber aspects and refine my daily gratitude practices with my new found discoveries. If you want a better job, or your dream job, then think about everything you want the job to be. Think about the things that are important toyou, such as the type of work you want to do, how you want to feel in your job, the type of company you want to work for, the kind ofpeople you want to work with, the hours you want to work, where you want your job to be, and the salary you want to receive. Get very clearabout what you want in the job by thinking it through thoroughly and writing all the details down. When you direct gratitude’s magical power toward any condition, a new condition is created, eliminating the old.

Write on a card in bold letters- ‘The Gift of Health is Keeping me Alive’. Put it where you will see it often. Read slowly, one word at a time- many times & feel grateful- Min 4 times My retired friend is still doing the practice as well but she read ahead and ended up doing the same practice a few times so she's about 10 days behind. Still, she continues to proceed and she loves it. The first twelve practices use the magical power of gratitude for what you have now and for what you’ve received in the past, because unlessyou’re grateful for what you have, and what you’ve received, the magic won’t work and you won’t receive more. These first twelve practiceswill set the magic of gratitude into motion immediately. I feel it's much easier to do this with someone. Two of my friends and I did it - we live far from each other but we'd call each other a few times a week, or, when we noticed something magical happen. By the way, we all noticed that many magical things were happening in our lives and we needed to share the amazement so we were in touch more so than usual.
