Entry to Winter Wonderland is free! Don’t get me wrong, this is amazing. However, the prices for rides and other things can be, in my opinion, extortionate! So in our usual money saving spirit, we do it on a budget. And it’s just as good :) Can you visit Winter Wonderland on a budget? Yes! Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, the various stalls and shops in Winter Wonderland are worth exploring. From unique local crafts to festive food and drink, there’s plenty to see and enjoy. I personally like to use air-popped popcorn because it remains crispy once coated in white chocolate and there is no oil flavor in this sweet popcorn. The city centre will be transformed once again thanks to The Frostlings, its special festive characters, who will be creating a magical Frost Village in and around Keel Square.Step into a magical and unique immersive experience that’ll capture the imagination of all the family. A buggy park is provided outside the circus show as buggies aren't allowed inside the dome, but there are no other official pram parks at Winter Wonderland.The nearest stations are: Victoria, Bond Street, Green Park, Paddington, Knightsbridge, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. As you'd expect, weekends and evenings are the most popular times — and Saturday evenings can be the most... 'vibrant' — so visit on a week day if possible. If that doesn't fit into your schedule, try to visit earlier in the run — the weeks closest to Christmas tend to be busy all day, every day. Kiddie skates and skate aids are available on the ice rink, and the Zippo's Christmas Circus show is 50 minutes long, ideal for kids' attention spans. The fact they offer free entry at certain times is a huge bonus, and it means you can immediately wipe out the entry costs you often have to factor into a day out. The variety of attractions, from fair ground rides to live performances, means there’s something for everyone.
